Invasive Management

Promote Forest Health

Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC) is invested in the health of our forests, conservation gardens, and other habitats. We are developing a non-native invasive plant (NNI) management program where volunteers will

  • Learn how to identify common NNIs in our region
  • Learn best management practices for removing and controlling the spread of NNIs
  • Have access to a library of tools useful for NNI management
  • Receive training on how to lead and manage their own NNI removal events
Contact Darcy Herman, GVC Program Manager, by email or 443-296-5074 x1005 to be notified about NNI program activities, including training and volunteer opportunities.

Funding for this program provided by BGE.
