Amy Hyman grew up in Harford County, where she developed a deep love for the outdoors, wildlife and the natural world. While studying Psychology at Harford Community College, a service trip to Key West, Florida working with Mote Marine Laboratory sparked her passion for conservation and inspired her to pursue Environmental Science. She went on to earn her B.S. in Environmental Science with a minor in Geology from Towson University.
Although Amy now works in food science, she remains deeply connected to her environmental roots through community involvement and conservation efforts. She enjoys kayaking, paddleboarding, and hiking along local trails, and remains passionate about contributing to a healthier, more sustainable future for our planet.
