Compost Demo @ Baltimore County Ag Center

Learn how to transform yard waste into compost, a valuable soil amendment!

Curious about composting but don’t know where to start? Join Gunpowder Valley Conservancy and Baltimore County Master Gardeners for a FREE Compost Demo at the Baltimore County Ag Center on Saturday October 21 between 10 – 11 am. You’ll have the opportunity to visit a demo garden to see examples of compost techniques. We’ll also review the Do’s and Do Not’s of Composting.

Please wear shoes or boots as we might need to go off path a little bit to access the garden due to setup for a RoadRunners race taking place at the farm later in the day.

No registration required for this activity. We will start promptly at 10 am to make sure we don’t interfere with the race.
