Community Listening Session: Foster Branch and Gunpowder River

October 7 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Share Your Thoughts on Ways to Improve Our Coastal Waterways

As a result of a consent decree related to alleged sediment violations at the Ridgley Reserve development, the Chesapeake Bay Trust has received nearly $2 million in Community-Driven Remediation Project (CDRP) funds to invest back into the community. These funds will support water quality and environmental restoration projects that protect aquatic and terrestrial resources and habitats in the Foster Branch and Gunpowder River watersheds.

Chesapeake Bay Trust (CBT) is holding a community listening session on Wednesday, October 7th regarding their proposed work in the Foster Branch and Gunpowder River watersheds. As stewards of our watershed community, we encourage you to attend to share your ideas on restoration and remediation projects.

This event will be a hybrid format. The meeting will be held in the Taylor Creek Pavilion at Mariner Point Park, 100 Kearney Drive, Joppa, MD 21085.   Both in-person and virtual attendees must register in advance. A Zoom link will be sent to registered participants prior to the meeting.
