Get a behind-the-scenes tour of a restoration nursery specializing in native plants!
We are excited to offer a FREE tour of the Ecotone Native Nursery as part of our Explore the Gunpowder Watershed Challenge! Join us for a tour of their greenhouse led by restoration nursery sales manager, Cara Mattlin. The Ecotone Native Nursery is a wholesale nursery specializing in native tree and shrub species that thrive in Maryland habitats, such as Coastal Plains, Eastern Mountains and Piedmont ecoregions.

Tour is limited to 20 people. Please wear comfortable shoes for walking around the greenhouse and bring your own water bottle.
Driving directions: 5650 Patterson Road, Baldwin, MD 21013. Due to the multiple areas that participants may be coming from, we recommend using your GPS and the address provided to determine the best route to this site. Look for GVC event sign at driveway. Parking is allowed along the gravel driveway.
This event is part of Gunpowder Valley Conservancy’s Explore the Gunpowder Watershed Challenge. Participants will earn a sticker for their 2024 Gunpowder Passport. It’s easy to participate!
