Planting Trees is Visionary
With our free tree planting program, our experts will plant native trees that are best suited to your land. You can expect a high survival rate, often over 90%, with desired results in as little as five years. We’ll also follow up regularly to check on the health of your growing trees and protect your family’s investment.
Plant Trees with GVC
Gunpowder Valley Conservancy (GVC) is seeking property owners interested in adding 50+ native trees to their property. GVC would provide the trees at no cost, install them with volunteer crews, as well as provide maintenance for several years.
Our Reforestation Program works to restore and expand forest cover through a variety of approaches. In upland areas, we focus on closing gaps in the tree canopy and gradually extending the forest edge. We also undertake projects that transform open fields into thriving forested landscapes, creating new habitats and strengthening ecosystem resilience.
