Macon is an environmental and strategic communication professional with a M.A. in Environmental Communication and Advocacy and a B.S. in Integrated Science and Technology from James Madison University. She has expertise in facilitation, community engagement, organizational communication, and project management. Macon brings together technical grant skills with a collaborative, mission-driven approach. She looks forward to helping secure funding that allows GVC to carry out our impactful conservation and community goals.

Through her work at Green Fin Studio, Macon has found a passion for place-based environmental storytelling and loves the opportunity to make connections with organizations and individuals working to support a healthy Chesapeake Bay. In her free time, Macon loves paddleboarding on the James River and running through Downtown Richmond.
