The Gunpowder Valley Conservancy is looking for volunteers to assist with our Reforestation program in Baltimore County. Great way to get field experience with an environmental non-profit organization!

 

REFORESTATION CREW CHIEF

We’re looking for outgoing, reliable, and hard-working people to supervise a group of 6-12 volunteers during tree planting projects for 3 hours. Must be 18 years or older (will consider 16-17 with parent’s permission.) Commit to one Saturday tree planting, or up to six plantings each planting season (spring/fall).

TREE MAINTENANCE INTERN

Energetic and physically able volunteer needed to assist in maintaining trees planted by the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy. Work includes making sure trees are upright and removing invasive plants. Must be 18+, provide own transportation, and able to lift up to 40 pounds.
